The inception of PT Gwenelda Prima Makmur traces back to its humble beginnings as a small and medium enterprise in 2016. Over the years, this modest venture evolved into a prominent company, establishing its own expansive factory spanning 1.6 hectares in Pasuruan, East Java. The company has further solidified its presence with a branch office Surabaya and a head office and factory in Pasuruan.

From its initial capacity, exporting a modest 5 containers of wood per month, then 15 containers per month, the company has undergone remarkable growth. This trajectory has seen a significant expansion, escalating to the impressive capability of exporting 88 containers monthly, with a continuous upward trend year to year. This transformative journey underscores the resilience, strategic vision, and dynamic growth of PT Gwenelda Prima Makmur.

From the outset, our focus has been on the field of wood, driven by the substantial potential in the export market, particularly to prominent destinations such as China, the US, Australia, and some countries in Europe. Our journey commenced with the production of rosewood, aligning with the market trend at that time.

However, attuned to the evolving dynamics of demand, we made a strategic shift by producing other woods to meet market demands. For instance, due to the high demand for balsa wood, we currently allocate 70% of our processing capacity to this versatile material. However, we remain flexible and open to producing other wood varieties as needed, driven by evolving market demands. Our adaptability and responsiveness to current market dynamics underscore our commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends.
